Community Accountability Reports
The Pima County Sheriff's Department has been serving our county since 1865. We are a nationally recognized law enforcement agency and should behave accordingly. There has been a call for reform nationally and locally because of alleged systemic problems in our profession. Consequently, the community expectations of law enforcement are different. We will embrace this expectation and commit to reform under three pillars. They are accountability, community engagement, and transparency. Our efforts under these three pillars will be a living and evolving approach to address reform and ensure responsiveness to the community we so proudly serve.
